MMA Projects towards the adoption of virtual reality in the design process
21 September 2022
MMA Projects is a dynamic firm that has always focused on innovation and excellence. Both in design and relationship with its numerous clients. From this starting point - and from the awareness that innovation often passes also through advanced technologies - MMA Projects has recently embarked on a path that will lead the studio to integrate virtual reality into architecture as an integral part of the design processes.
The impact of using virtual reality in architecture can be disruptive. Anyone can quickly be immersed in three-dimensional representations of a project. As a result, architects and designers can communicate and bring ideas - to themselves or end customers - to life long before the structures are actually built.
Therefore, designers and customers can understand the building at 360 degrees and in all directions. Simply by living it. It becomes easier to communicate design intent and consequently understand spatial and scale relationships.
It's not just about entertainment. Our ambition is to actively use virtual reality in architecture in the various design phases. From the concept and analysis phase to better guide choices and solutions; in the design review phase to check if the initial idea has been correctly translated into the project, and obviously in the project presentation phase.
Several architectural firms are already moving along this path. A road still to be traced for the most part. An approach that MMA Projects wants to undertake in order never to stop growing, innovating and feeding its vision.
